Chinese Super League clubs must settle outstanding wages or be disqualified, says CFA

Chinese Super League clubs must settle their outstanding wages by the end of this year or face being relegated or disqualified from the top-tier football competition, the Chinese Football Association has announced.

The CFA said the move, reported by the Xinhua news agency, is aimed at "safeguarding the interests of players and other employees" ahead of the start of the latest Chinese football season at the end of this month.
