Canal+ Sport, a new sports channel in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, has struck carriage agreements with Slovak Telekom, Digi Slovakia and T-Mobile Czech Republic.
The channels, launched by DTH and IPTV operator Skylink, have agreed three-season deals to ensure the telcos continue to air English Premier League football coverage. The deals have been signed ahead of the start of the new Premier League season later today (Friday).
