Austin FC play first game at Q2 Stadium as Columbus Crew bid farewell to old venue

Major League Soccer expansion team Austin FC played in front of a capacity 20,738 crowd for its inaugural game at state-of-the-art venue Q2 Stadium on June 19, a goalless draw against San Jose Earthquakes.

Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey, Austin FC's part owner and so-called minister of culture, brought some glamour to the event by leading the crowd in a pre-match chant.
