Brazilian football club Atlético Mineiro has added real estate business Multimarcas Consórcios to its portfolio of shirt sponsors.
The company will be visible on the shoulder of the men’s team’s kit and the upper back of the women’s jersey. Its logo will first be visible during Atlético’s regional championship match against Uberlândia on January 21.
The deal adds to the club’s broad array of shirt sponsors. Its main kit sponsor designation is filled by Meugalo BMG, a digital bank created for the team’s fans by and Brazilian bank BMG, the club’s main sponsor.
Another real estate company, MRV is present on the arm of the shirt and also holds the naming rights to the Brasileiro Série A club’s proposed new stadium. The 47,000-capacity venue is currently under construction and is set to open in 2023.
Vehicle insurance specialists Auto Truck and supermarket chain SupermercadosBH complete the shirt sponsorship portfolio with visibility on the back of the team’s jersey.
For the Atlético women’s team, the signing of Multimarcas Consórcios follows the recent addition of food brand Temperatta.
French sports apparel company Le Coq Sportif is the kit supplier for both of the club’s male and female teams.
