Experts predict a deal for naming rights for the new New York Giants and New York Jets stadium to set naming rights records.
Analysts say the stadium, by virtue of being home to two NFL franchises, would create a historic proposition, giving potential sponsors the most value ever offered.
"The NFL is such a marketing juggernaut in the world of sports, that there's just no other league that's close to it," said sports consultant Dean Bonham.
Marc Ganis, president of SportsCorp predicts the deal will bring in at least $25 million to $30 million per year. The record naming rights deal at present is for the rights to the New York Mets' new stadium, purchased by Citigroup Inc. for more than $400 million over 20 years.
The New York Giants and New York Jets are reportedly only looking for five sponsors for the entire stadium: one naming rights sponsor, and four others in each corner of the structure and will carry no perimeter board advertising.
