Ice Network, LLC, a newly formed wholly-owned subsidiary of US Figure Skating, has the exclusive rights to US Figure Skating’s interactive media properties. Under the terms of this deal, MLB Advanced Media will be responsible for developing, managing, operating and maintaining the exclusive, official website and interactive media properties of Ice Network, located at the domain name www.IceNetwork.com.
In successive phases of the deal, MLB Advanced Media will oversee responsibility for online ticketing and merchandising, as well as content services and the sale of advertising and sponsorships, in conjunction with US Figure Skating, for Ice Network.
US Figure Skating will webcast all 2006-2007 US qualifying events from the juvenile level through the adult level, with the exception of the 2007 State Farm US Figure Skating Championships. For a season subscription fee of $29.95, fans will receive unlimited access to US Figure Skating qualifying events until June 30, 2007, including coverage of all five disciplines: ladies, men’s, pairs, ice dancing and synchronised team skating.
