The company, a subsidiary of Lagardere Active, will establish the group’s presence in the sports business, in particular in the sphere of formats, editorial lines and in the management of rights.
Lagardere appointed Olivier Guiguet as the group's chairman. He will also continue in his role as head of marketing and communications of Lagardere Active and Europe 1.
Stéphane Schindler was appointed chief executive officer of Lagadere Sports. Schindler was most recently TWI International vice-president and IMG head of media business affairs France.
