The Fiba Europe division of the International Basketball Federation (Fiba) has said it has received “support” from the national federations threatened with sanctions over their affiliation with Euroleague Basketball, as the latter organisation’s president, Jordi Bertomeu, said two major sticking points remain to resolve the impasse that is surrounding the club game.
