Competition watchdog probes Globo’s Brazilian volleyball deal

Brazil’s Council for Administrative Defence (Cade), the competition regulator, has opened an investigation into possible anti-competitive practices in media group Globo’s contracts with the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV).

The investigation is hinged on an advisory role Globo had previously held with the CBV.
