China's domestic football league, the Chinese Super League, is to begin its 2022 season on June 3, in a sign the country's sports industry may be starting to emerge from the ongoing Covid crisis.
The CSL announced its restart in a social media post this week. The season will be played in three cities - Dalian, Haikou and Meizhou - with the 18 teams entering 'bio-secure' bubbles to take part. A similar set-up was used for the past two CSL seasons. Teams have entered the bubbles and begun training for the 2022 season.
