Australian government extends ‘anti-siphoning’ list for three years

The Australian government has extended the validity of the country’s current ‘anti-siphoning’ list – which dictates sporting events that should be shown on free-to-air television – for a further three years.

The previous Australian government granted a two-year extension to the existing list in March 2021. With the list due to expire on April 1, it has now been extended to 2026.
