ACC ‘to propose’ annual Asia Cup

Asian Cricket Council (ACC) officials will propose staging the Asia Cup on an annual basis during talks at the International Cricket Council’s (ICC’s) annual general meeting in Birmingham next week, according to reports.

Forbes business magazine reports that ACC executives are set to argue in favour of holding the Asia Cup more regularly in order to exploit the “untapped” commercial potential of the pan-regional tournament.
