CYCLING.TV PARTNERS WITH ASO FOR TOUR DE FRANCE

Cycling.tv and ASO will produce two three-minute ‘magazine’ shows per day, every day, during the 2007 Tour de France, for distribution to media, sport and entertainment based websites worldwide. Edits of the shows will also appear on Cycling.tv for free to internet users.

The Tour de France magazine show will consist of interviews, news, views and previews on location. The daily schedule will consist of two shows, around three or four minutes long, produced by Cycling.tv and then sent for online distribution to ASO.

Every show will be a preview or review of that day’s location and stage, one show being produced in the morning, then one in the afternoon. ASO will also provide Cycling.tv with a three minute (post race) edit of the racing action per day, which Cycling.tv can incorporate in to the magazine shows, or potentially run as a stand-alone highlights or summary show on demand.

And as part of the deal, Cycling.tv acquired rights to broadcast the Opening Ceremony online across most territories, live from Trafalgar Square for Le Grand Depart on Friday July 6.
