Fifa has suspended the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) due to government interference in the running of the sport in the west African country

Isha Johansen, president of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and an executive committee member with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has been charged with 10 counts of corruption and abuse of power.

Isha Johansen has become only the second female leader of a national football governing body after being appointed as the new president of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA).
