LAUSANNE, Switzerland – During the 129th IOC Session in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday, 3 August 2016, a successful vote was taken to add the following SportAccord Member sports to the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 sports programme - Baseball/Softball, Karate, Skateboard, Sports Climbing and Surfing.
