Budapest’s Erzsébet square to host Euro fan zone

Hungarian National Television and Budapest 2024 have teamed up to create a free live site for the duration of the UEFA European Championship in Budapest’s most popular urban green space, Erzsébet Square. The football fan zone kicks off tonight and will feature a festival-sized LED screen for fans to watch matches throughout the 23-day long tournament. Approximately 40,000 people are expected to join in over the course of the event.
