Production company TVStart has agreed a deal to serve as the media partner of the Ski Classics long-distance skiing championship in Russia.
The partnership covers the four remaining events of the 2016-17 season and has been signed ahead of this weekend’s Birkebeinerrennet event in Norway.
The season continues the following week with the Årefjällsloppet event in Sweden, before the campaign concludes next month with the Reistadløpet Bardufoss and Ylläs-Levi meetings in Norway and Finland, respectively.
David Nilsson, Ski Classics’ chief executive, said: “Russia is a key territory for Visma Ski Classics and we hope to increase our fan base there over time.”
