German commercial broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has acquired rights to the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, which commences later this month.
Games will be broadcast by free-to-air channel ProSieben Maxx, along with being live streamed by ran.de and prosiebenmaxx.de, as well as their respective apps.
The national team tournament takes place from October 26 to December 2 in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
ProSieben Maxx will televise three live games from the group stage, including New Zealand versus Samoa on October 28, England versus Lebanon on November 4 and Australia versus Lebanon on November 11.
The channel will also broadcast quarter-final and semi-final games on November 18 and November 25, along with the tournament final on December 2.
Additional games will be replayed in full on Sundays.
