The Football Association in England has renewed domestic rights deals for the FA Cup knockout club competition with public-service broadcaster the BBC and pay-television broadcaster BT Sport.
The agreements will run for three seasons, from 2018-19 to 2020-21.
Both broadcasters will show live coverage, with up to 30 matches – including one more game per round in the first five rounds of the competition – being available live on BT Sport.
The BBC’s coverage will continue to span television, digital and radio platforms.
BT Sport will also continue as the home of the FA’s international development football, covering England U-17, U-19 and U-21 matches exclusively live.
BT Sport will remain the exclusively live broadcaster of the Women’s Super League and will show both Women’s FA Cup semi-finals exclusively live, the Women’s FA Cup final and England senior women’s home friendlies.
The BBC will offer live coverage of women’s international qualifiers, the Women’s FA Cup final, one England women’s friendly game per season and highlights of the Women’s Super League.
