International sports broadcaster Eleven Sports has linked up with combat sports distributor Fighting Spirit to deliver live boxing action in Italy and Belgium.
Eleven will broadcast live and exclusive coverage in the two countries of the December 15 WBO heavyweight title eliminator between Germany’s Christian Hammer (pictured) and Russia’s Alexander Povetkin. The fight takes place in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
The winner of the fight will become the mandatory challenger for the WBO title, securing the chance to face current heavyweight champion Joseph Parker.
Eleven will also show coverage in Italy of four bouts from Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium on November 27. Action will include the WBC international heavyweight title fight between Russia’s Sergei Kuzmin and Amir Mansour of the US.
