UK free-to-air entertainment channel Dave has agreed a deal to broadcast the 2016 British Darts Organisation’s World Trophy event.
Dave will broadcast 10 hours of live coverage during every day of the event, which runs from May 28-30 at the Lakeside Country Club in Surrey, UK.
This year’s World Trophy, which will feature reigning world champions Scott Waites (pictured) and Trina Gulliver, will offer a total prize fund of £150,000 (€190,000/$217,000).
The deal will mark Dave’s latest move in the sports-rights market, having also broadcast live coverage of British heavyweight boxer David Haye’s comeback fight in January of this year.
