Arqiva abandons IPO plans

UK media services provider Arqiva has abandoned plans for a flotation on the London Stock Exchange.

Arqiva, which works with numerous sports properties to provide streaming and production-related services, announced its intention to float just two weeks ago.

However, Arqiva said in a statement: “The board and shareholders have decided that pursuing a listing in this period of IPO market uncertainty is not in the interests of the company and its stakeholders, and will revisit the listing once IPO market conditions improve.”

Last month, Arqiva sealed a partnership with the Fox Networks Group Asia media company to deliver 4K streaming coverage of the remaining four races of the 2017 Formula One motor-racing world championship.
