Australia’s National Rugby League has entered into a partnership with online pet services aggregator Yourpetscombined.
As part of the deal, the length of which was not disclosed, Yourpetscombined will have a presence within the in-goal areas during the NRL’s Friday night fixtures.
The 2018 NRL season gets underway next month. The first two Friday night fixtures see the Newcastle Knights take on the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and the North Queensland Cowboys face off against the Cronulla Sharks on March 9.
Yourpetscombined founder Andrew Bell said: “Friday night is an important time for us as a lot of families are sitting down and watching the footy whilst planning their weekend. A lot of the planning often involves their pets and we're looking forward to engaging with a new audience and bringing our partnership with rugby league to life through Friday night footy.”
