Juventus signs Asia-focused partnership with Costa Cruises

Italian Serie A football club Juventus has signed a regional partnership in Asia with cruise line company Costa Cruises.

Under the agreement, Costa Cruises and Juventus will offer collaborative entertainment experiences on board, including the Juventus Museum. In addition, there will be team merchandise and themed television content within each cabin.

Children aged five to 14-years-old will be given the opportunity to participate in Juventus Academy’s sporting activities on board, led by Juventus-trained coaches.

As part of the deal, Costa Cruise customers will have the chance to visit the Juventus home ground, Allianz Stadium, in which they will be able to visit the press area, changing rooms, watch the team warm-up from the sidelines and potentially meet the players.

The partnership will be launched across three events in the Chinese ports of Shanghai, Shenzhen and Tianjin.

Giorgio Ricci, Juventus co-chief revenue officer and head of business partnerships, said: “This deal is testimony to the great attention of our club to a fast-growing market like Asia, where the passion for football and for the Bianconeri colours is constantly on the rise. Costa Cruises is definitely an ideal partner with whom to develop joint entertainment activities.”
