IPL champions land extensions with airlines

Abu-Dhabi based airline Etihad Airways and its partner, India-based Jet Airways, have renewed their sponsorship deal with Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket franchise the Mumbai Indians.

Etihad Airways and Jet Airways will continue to serve as the team’s official airline partners and principal sponsors for the duration of the 2016 IPL season, which got underway at the weekend.

Under the agreement, Etihad Airways’ logo will appear on the back of the team’s shirts during home games, while Jet Airways’ branding will occupy the same position during away matches.
