Bayern partners with Hugo Boss, Stuttgart extends Barmer deal

Bayern Munich has agreed a sponsorship deal with fashion house Hugo Boss, while fellow German Bundesliga football club VfB Stuttgart has renewed its partnership with insurance provider Barmer.

Hugo Boss, a German company, will provide Bundesliga champion Bayern with specially-designed clothing during the upcoming International Champions Cup pre-season tournament in China and Singapore.

Bayern team officials will also be provided with the same custom-designed clothing as part of the agreement, the length of which was undisclosed.

The collection is available exclusively in the Boss store within the APM Mall in Shanghai, the Munich flagship and the Munich airport store. Selected items from the collection will be available in stores worldwide from August 2017.

Meanwhile, Stuttgart has signed a new one-year deal with Barmer covering the 2017-18 season.

Barmer will continue to benefit from hospitality packages and advertising exposure at Stuttgart’s Mercedes-Benz Arena as part of the agreement.

Barmer’s branding will feature on the bag used by Stuttgart’s physio during games, with the company to also support the VfB Reha-Welt gym.

In addition, Barmer will serve as the presenting partner of the VfB Saisoneröffnung, Stuttgart’s season-opening event which takes place on July 23.

The 2017-18 season will mark Stuttgart’s first year back in the top-tier Bundesliga following relegation in 2016.
