Sports betting company 12Bet has agreed a deal to sponsor this year’s Badminton World Championships.
12Bet will serve as an official partner of the event, which runs from August 21-27 in Glasgow, Scotland.
12Bet’s agreement with the Badminton World Federation was brokered by the Infront Sports & Media agency.
The company will benefit from product category exclusivity and on-site brand exposure as part of the agreement.
BWF secretary general Thomas Lund said: “This tournament is the highlight of the 2017 season, bringing together badminton’s most accomplished players. It will be watched keenly by millions globally and will offer significant worldwide exposure for the 12Bet brand.”
