IMG China teams up with Focus Media

The IMG China division of the WME|IMG agency has formed a partnership with Focus Media International Technology that will feature video content distribution in China.

Focus Media, a subsidiary of FMIT, has agreed a deal with the IMG Sports Development (Shanghai) division to allow free access to its video footage.

WME|IMG China will also allow Focus Media to display the videos via its own media platforms and display their joint branding in the video clips.

Following the announcement, WME|IMG China will work through the partnership with brands such as football’s English Premier League and Chinese Super League, the Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts series, the Wimbledon tennis championships and PGA and LPGA golf tours.
