Portuguese pay-television broadcaster Sport TV has entered into a multi-year rights partnership with US wrestling organisation WWE.
Sport TV will show the WWE’s flagship ‘Raw’ and ‘Smackdown’ programmes on a weekly basis, beginning October 31. Raw will air on Tuesdays and Smackdown on Wednesdays.
The broadcaster’s Sport.TV+ channel will also show a one-hour edition of Raw on Thursday evenings and an hour-long Smackdown programme on Saturday mornings.
Sport TV will broadcast all WWE programming with Portuguese commentary on an exclusive basis in the country.
