The World Surf League has signed up Mexican tequila brand Jose Cuervo as an official partner in North America.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Jose Cuervo will support men’s and women’s WSL Championship Tour events in the US during the current 2017 season.
The 2017 women’s Championship Tour concludes with the Maui Women’s Pro in Hawaii on November 25, while the men’s Championship Tour will also finish in the US state on December 8 with the Billabong Pipe Masters.
In addition, to mark the partnership, Jose Cuervo has collaborated with the WSL to produce a short film focusing on professional surf photographers and their work with the WSL.
