The World Rallycross Championship (World RX) motor-racing series has extended its partnership with global logistics company Woodland Group.
The new multi-year deal will see Woodland Group retain its position as the official logistics partner of the series.
The company will continue to deliver logistics solutions for World RX across Europe, North America and Africa. The partnership will cover the series’ first full airfreight movement ahead of the inaugural World RX of USA event at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas on September 29-30. Woodland Group has an office in Texas.
James Taylor, vice-president of rallycross for the IMG agency, which organises the series, said: “As World RX ventures into new markets, including the United States, Woodland Group will be integral to the series’ continued global growth and success through its dedicated logistics service.”
The 2018 World RX season got underway at the weekend with the World RX of Catalunya-Barcelona event in Spain. Woodland Group first partnered with the series in March 2017.
