World Para Ice Hockey has unveiled equipment retailer Shop-Hockey.com as its official supplier of protective equipment.
World Para Ice Hockey’s deal with the Czech company will run until the end of 2019.
The partnership will provide a new platform for National Paralympic Committees and para ice hockey organisations to purchase equipment at discounted rates.
Athletes, teams and NPCs will receive a five-per-cent discount when using the ‘WPIH’ promotional code on Shop-Hockey.com.
The 18-month deal covers three editions of the World Para Ice Hockey Championships (A, B and C pools) and several development events.
“World Para Ice Hockey has used Shop-Hockey.com’s services for many years and we are happy to formalise this relationship,” Barbora Kohoutova, interim World Para Ice Hockey manager, said.
“The whole para ice hockey community will benefit from this partnership and we hope it will make it easier for the organisations to find the equipment they need.”
