US telecommunications company AT&T has agreed a deal to broadcast coverage of the inaugural edition of the World Boxing Super Series annual elimination tournament across a number of its platforms.
AT&T’s coverage will begin with tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) quarter-final fight between Mairis Briedis (pictured) and Mike Perez on its Audience Network television channel.
Subscribers can also view coverage of the series through the Audience Network On Demand service, as well as DirecTV Now, the on-demand platform run by AT&T’s DirecTV satellite service provider.
AT&T platforms will also broadcast pre-fight coverage in the lead up to the main event.
The World Boxing Super Series features 16 boxers across the cruiserweight and super middleweight classes and will run until May 2018 under a bracket-style elimination format.
It is unclear whether AT&T’s agreement will continue beyond the quarter finals.
