The MP & Silva agency has agreed rights deals in a host of territories for the inaugural season of the World Boxing Super Series.

Turkish telecommunications company Türk Telekom has picked up rights, along with Russian sports media platform Match TV.

Turkish boxer Avni Yildirim and Russian fighters Murat Gassiev (pictured) and Dmitry Kudryashov are among those set to compete in the series, which began on Saturday.

Türk Telecom will broadcast the series through tivibusport.com and free-to-air channel Tivibu Sports.

Further rights deals have been signed with Bulgarian commercial broadcaster Nova, Ukrainian broadcaster Inter, Belgian pay-television operator Voo and Singaporean pay-television broadcaster StarHub. The TV Media Sport agency also acquired rights across sub-Saharan Africa.

The World Boxing Super Series will feature a total of 16 boxers across the cruiserweight and super middleweight classes and will run until May 2018 under a bracket-style elimination format.
