Women’s WorldTour powerhouse renews with title sponsors

Women’s WorldTour outfit Boels-Dolmans Cycling Team has extended partnerships with its title sponsors, equipment rental company Boels Rental and Dolmans Landscaping Group.

Both companies have signed new two-year deals with the Netherlands-based team that will run until the end of 2020.

Dolmans began sponsoring the team in 2010, when the outfit was known as Dolmans Landscaping Team. Boels Rental came on board as a co-title sponsor in 2012.

Boels-Dolmans is one of the leading women’s cycling teams, and finished as team champion during the 2016 and 2017 Women’s WorldTour seasons. Boels-Dolmans riders Megan Guarnier and Anna van der Breggen also won the individual titles in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Yvo Hoppers, corporate marketing and communications manager of Boels Rental, said: “We are proud to be the first naming partner of this Dutch-registered team and to have celebrated so many victories with the team over the past five years. There wasn’t much to discuss when contracts were renegotiated.

“It’s clear from everything that the team does that its management and riders have the right attitude towards professional cycling, which includes respect, sportsmanship and commitment. Boels Rental is pleased that the team will carry its name for another two years.”
