Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment has signed a multi-year rights partnership with North American college sports organisation the Western Athletic Conference.
Under the agreement, VWSE’s Collegiate Services division will manage and market the multimedia rights associated with the WAC. It will also serve as the conference’s corporate sponsorship representative.
In addition, digital and live broadcast productions will be part of the new media rights package.
“It was very important to partner with an innovative, aggressive company that also had a great understanding of the conference landscape and the assets of the WAC,” Western Athletic Conference commissioner Jeff Hurd said.
VWSE’s US collegiate conference portfolio also includes Colonial Athletic Association, America East Conference and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
