Racing bicycle manufacturer Ventum has extended its sponsorship deal with triathlon’s Ironman World Championship.
Ventum will retain its role as the official bike sponsor for the 2017 edition of the event, which will take place on October 14 in Kailua-Kona in Hawaii, US.
In addition, Ventum will supply its bikes to a number of triathletes at this year’s event, including 2012 Ironman and Ironman 70.3 World Champion Leanda Cave (pictured).
The 2017 Ironman World Championship will begin with a 2.4-mile open-water swim, followed by a 112-mile bike course and a 26.2-mile, marathon-length run.
