Toyota backs Paralympics Ireland

Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota has signed a new partnership with Paralympics Ireland.

Under the agreement, Toyota will become the official mobility partner of Paralympics Ireland.

The deal also names Toyota as an official partner of the 2020 and 2024 Irish Paralympic teams.

Toyota will invest over €1m ($1.2m) in support of the partnership for the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Paralympics.

Toyota will provide mobility services and solutions to Paralympics Ireland for the next eight years and the two Paralympic Games cycles.

In addition, Toyota has signed brand ambassador deals with Irish Paralympic athletes Jason Smyth (pictured), Patrick Monahan, Noelle Lenihan, Ellen Keane and Nicole Turner, who will form part of the company’s ‘Start Your Impossible’ campaign.

Toyota is a worldwide partner of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) as part of a nine-year deal running from 2016 to 2024. The deal covers the entire Paralympic Movement.
