Pay-television broadcaster Star India has secured a long-term rights deal for the French Open tennis tournament.
The agreement will run for five editions, from 2017 to 2021.
The deal was agreed with the French Tennis Federation, which operates the tournament.
The contract covers exclusive television and digital rights in India and the Indian subcontinent, covering Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
