German pay-television broadcaster Sky Deutschland is to launch an OTT sports service in Switzerland, according to the Broadband TV News website.
The service will launch next month.
The platform will include coverage of the Bundesliga, the top division of football in Germany, according to promotional information on the newly-launched Swiss Sky Sport pages on social media websites Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
The report said a Sky spokesman had confirmed the plans and added further details would be announced in the future.
Swiss pay-television operator Teleclub has been offering Sky’s channels for several years.
