Seat becomes top-tier sponsor of Spanish Football Federation

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has agreed a sponsorship deal with Spanish automotive manufacturer Seat.

The deal covers the Spanish national team and runs until March 2021. Seat will serve as the official car of the national team and a main sponsor of the RFEF alongside Cruzcampo, Movistar and Adidas.

The deal will grant Seat exposure during this summer’s Fifa World Cup in Russia and the 2020 Uefa European Championships, which will be held in a host of cities across Europe.

The partnership will be activated for the first time during Spain’s friendly match against Switzerland on June 4. From then until March 2021, Seat will have a presence at a minimum of 15 matches held in Spain. The company will be granted promotional access to players as part of the deal.

Seat president Luca de Meo said: “This agreement seeks to associate Seat as the brand of the Spanish and unite us around a common passion such as football, the most popular sport and the best platform to visualise the spirit of the brand and continue to grow in Spain and Europe, as well as globally.”

Spain has been drawn alongside Portugal, Morocco and Iran in Group B at this year’s World Cup, which runs from June 14 to July 15.
