Irish public-service broadcaster RTÉ has picked up rights to the Uefa Euro 2020 finals and qualifying games for the national football team tournament, as well as rights to European qualifiers for the 2022 Fifa World Cup.
RTÉ Sport will broadcast live coverage of the Irish national team’s qualifying campaign for both competitions.
RTÉ Sport will also show live coverage of the Euro 2020 tournament, which will be staged across 13 cities in Europe.
The agreement covers rights across television, online and mobile.
RTÉ already holds the rights to the European qualifiers and finals for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
