Technology company OTC Desks has renewed its sponsorship of Spanish LaLiga football club Real Betis.
As part of the deal, OTC Desks’ eponymous cryptocurrency brokerage service will feature on the front of the club’s shirts during away matches. For home matches, the logo of the company’s Green Earth subsidiary will adorn Betis’ shirts. The agreement covers the 2018-19 season.
Green Earth uses cryptocurrency technology to attract funds to support the conservation of forests in Latin America and benefited from front-of-shirt exposure during Betis’ 2017-18 campaign.
As part of the new deal, OTC Desks will also be promoted across the club’s stadium, and on digital and social media channels.
Betis finished the 2017-18 season in sixth place to qualify for the Uefa Europa League.
