Professional Squash Association extends with Dunlop

The Professional Squash Association has renewed its partnership with British sporting goods manufacturer Dunlop.

The new three-year deal will run until 2020, with Dunlop to retain its position as the official ball, racket, grip, string and luggage partner of the PSA.

Dunlop will also sponsor showpiece events in the form of the PSA World Championships, British Open, Canary Wharf Classic and the season-ending PSA World Series Finals. The company will receive significant on-site brand exposure and activation opportunities at each event.

Dunlop initially partnered with the PSA for the organisation’s 2017 World Championships in Manchester, England.

Tommy Berden (right of picture), the PSA’s chief commercial officer, said: “It’s already evident that Dunlop are keen to expand their profile within the sport – as shown with the introduction of new branding concepts at December’s PSA World Championships – and we're excited to be working alongside one of the strongest brands in the sport during what is an exciting time for squash.

“We've seen increases in profile, prize money and competition throughout the past few years and working closely with companies like Dunlop will help us continue to move forward through the next three years.”

Steve Heatley (left of picture), general manager at Dunlop UK, added: “We are also looking forward to developing and launching new PSA-endorsed product ranges worldwide and enhancing the player and spectator experiences at key PSA tournaments, including the British Open, Canary Wharf Classic, World Series Finals and the World Championships. The new partnership underpins our commitment to the sport and will help us to build on our market leading position.”
