Premiership champions extend with shirt sponsor

English Premiership rugby union club Exeter Chiefs has renewed its sponsorship deal with regional airline Flybe.

The one-year extension will cover the 2017-18 season, with Flybe branding to remain in place on the back of Chiefs players shirts.

Flybe will also benefit from a continued presence on various signage inside the team’s Sandy Park Stadium.

The club has been in partnership with Flybe since its promotion to the top-tier Premiership in 2010.

Flybe chief executive Christine Ourmieres-Widener said: “With Exeter as our home base and with many of our customers and staff being avid fans of the Chiefs, we are proud to have supported our local rugby team for many years.

“That they have been so hugely successful is an added bonus. Last year, they flew with us to many of their key matches and we look forward to welcoming the team on board again as they defend their Premiership crown.”
