Polsat lands exclusive UFC rights

Polish commercial and pay-television broadcaster Polsat has signed a three-year deal for exclusive rights to mixed martial arts promotion the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The contract will run from 2018 to 2020, with Polsat to broadcast 40 live UFC events per year, as well as over 150 hours of additional programming.

UFC content will mainly be broadcast on the Polsat Sport and Polsat Sport Fight channels.

Poland has 12 fighters currently competing in the UFC, headlined by former women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk (pictured).
