Polish commercial and pay-television broadcaster Polsat has agreed a rights deal with Profesjonalna Liga Piłki Siatkowej, the organising body of domestic club volleyball competitions.
Polsat will broadcast games from the PlusLigi, Ligi Siatkówki Kobiet and 1 Ligi. The deal will commence from the 2018-19 season.
Marian Kmita, Polsat sport director, said: “Volleyball has been one of our flagship products for years, which is why we are once again taking up the challenge. Together with the presidents of clubs and the PLPS we want to create a product that will develop and strengthen Polish volleyball, and as a result, bring us all the benefits.”
