Middle Eastern pay-television operator OSN has launched Wavo, a new streaming service.
The Wavo Sports package will be available for $4.99 (€4.25) per day or $7.99 per week. OSN will also offer the WWE Network app – dedicated to the wrestling entertainment organisation – for $9.99 per month.
The services will all be available through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Earlier this year OSN launched a range of new sports channels – OSN Sports Action 1 HD, OSN Sports Action 2 HD and OSN Sports 5 HD – as part of its new ‘Ultimate Sports Pack’.
The channels feature wrestling, as well as the UFC mixed martial arts series, the MotoGP and Superbike World Championship motorcycling series, the Formula E electric car-racing championship, US college basketball, the AFL Aussie rules competition, beach volleyball, cycling and rugby union.
