Oakley on board with Team Dimension Data

US sports performance and fashion brand Oakley has agreed a global partnership with South African UCI WorldTour cycling outfit Team Dimension Data.

The three-year deal has come into effect immediately, with Team Dimension Data riders wearing Oakley cycling kits and eyewear during this year’s Tour de France, which began on Saturday.

The deal will cover the supply of team jerseys, bibs, caps, t-shirts and eyewear with Prizm technology. Oakley will also design replica kit and eyewear for fans to purchase.

In addition, Oakley will support the team’s Qhubeka non-profit African charity that is dedicated to advancing education, health and economic opportunities for Africans through sustainable transportation.

Team Dimension Data rider Mark Cavendish won the opening stage of this year’s Tour de France.
