Mobile phone manufacturer Nokia has agreed to become the principal sponsor of Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket franchise the Kolkata Knight Riders.
The two-year deal begins with the 2018 IPL season, which gets underway on April 7.
Nokia’s branding will feature on the front of the Knight Riders’ shirts as part of the deal.
Nokia has a pre-existing relationship with the Knight Riders, having sponsored the team from 2008 to 2014.
The Knight Riders’ IPL campaign begins on April 8 with a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Knight Riders will this year be captained by Indian international Dinesh Karthik.
